Who are the faces behind Haus Enzian? We are Benno and Margot.

Benno was born and raised in Galtür, while Margot comes from the Netherlands. Our story began – rather cliché, perhaps – during an après-ski evening in the Alps. Since then, we've become a great team, combining our different passions and strengths to create a place where guests truly feel at home.

Benno's passion lies in everything culinary. As a qualified sommelier, he loves sharing his knowledge of Austrian wines and can recommend the perfect pairing with the delicious specialties of traditional Tyrolean cuisine.

Margot feels happiest outdoors. In winter, she works as a ski and cross-country ski instructor, while the rest of the year she enjoys exploring the mountains on foot or by bike. She has a keen eye for detail and is always looking for a new trail, a hidden viewpoint or the next adventure in the Alps.

Together, we share one dream: to breathe new life into Haus Enzian while preserving the authentic charm that made us fall in love with it in the first place.

Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming and authentic place where guests immediately feel at home. We want to share our love for the mountains, our passion for hospitality and everything that makes this beautiful region so special.
