Situated at an altitude of 1,600 metres, Galtür is officially recognised as a Luftkurort (health resort) thanks to its exceptionally pure mountain air and healthy Alpine climate. Its high elevation guarantees reliable snow conditions throughout the winter, making it an ideal destination for both alpine and cross-country skiing. During the summer months, you'll find endless hiking and cycling trails to explore. Even experienced mountaineers will be impressed by the region's more than 40 peaks exceeding 3,000 metres. Whatever the season, Galtür is the perfect destination to enjoy nature and create unforgettable 'MOUNTAIN MEMORIES'.

Renovierung 2026
In the spring of 2026, we were fortunate enough to receive the keys to Haus Enzian – a truly unique opportunity. We immediately fell in love with the authentic charm of this traditional Tyrolean house, whose original section dates back almost 90 years.
During the summer of 2026, the house will undergo extensive renovation. While preserving its traditional character, we are upgrading the property to meet modern standards of comfort. The renovation includes four brand-new (2 persons) bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a completely new kitchen equipped with high-quality built-in appliances.
We love sharing our local knowledge and are always happy to recommend the most beautiful hiking trails, the best ski slopes and the hidden gems of the region. To us, Haus Enzian is much more than simply a holiday home. Whether you're visiting for an active winter sports holiday, unforgettable summer hikes or simply to relax and unwind, our greatest wish is that you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
